About Jerry L. Martin
Jerry L. Martin is the author of God: An Autobiography, As Told to a Philosopher and Radically Personal: God and Ourselves in the New Axial Age. Once an agnostic, his life changed the day he finally prayed — and God responded. That encounter and the dialogue that followed sparked the Theology Without Walls project, which draws on the insights of every spiritual tradition.
His career has included serving as Acting Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities and teaching philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder. Today, Jerry continues exploring how God communicates not only through scriptures and traditions, but in the unfolding experiences of our everyday lives.
